Rental Conditions
Everything you need to know before renting a car
Minimum ageThe primary driver must be at least 21 years old. For Premium and premium SUV categories: at least 25 years old.
Driver's licenseValid driver's license held for at least 1 year. We accept EU, UK and international licenses. Original required at pickup.
Security depositEconomy: 500 RON. Comfort: 800 RON. Premium: 1,500 RON. SUV: 1,000 RON. Van: 1,200 RON. Blocked on card (pre-authorization) and released upon car return.
Documents required at pickupID card or passport (original). Driver's license (original). Bank card in the driver's name (for deposit). Reservation voucher (email).
Unlimited mileageAll rentals include unlimited mileage in Romania. For trips abroad (EU): mandatory notification, no additional cost. Exclusions: Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey.
FuelCar is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If returned with less, the difference is charged + 50 RON refueling fee.
Car returnOn the date and time stated in the contract. Delay up to 1 hour: free. 1-3 hours delay: 50% of daily rate. Over 3 hours: full day is charged.
Usage restrictionsNot permitted: transporting goods, participating in motor competitions, sub-leasing, driving on unpaved forest roads (exception: Duster 4x4). Smoking in the car: 200 RON cleaning penalty.
Additional driverOne additional driver can be added for free (with license and documents at pickup). Second additional driver: 15 RON/day.
